BigStar.tv Festival Results

After a few attempts to speak with BigStar.tv, I got ahold of them over email. They stated the contest that we entered “Copii la Joacă” into was actually NOT based on viewer votes as they mention on many parts of their website. Rather the winning film was chosen by a panel of BigStar.tv judges that only use the votes if they choose to. (They referred me to a page on their website that states this.) Although we believe this was somewhat misleading, based on how they presented the contest on their website and to us, we will not be arguing it further and asked that BigStar.tv remove our film from their website. They have not replied to this request.

I would personally like to give a big THANK YOU to everyone that did vote for our film. We not only ended up with one of the highest rated films and over 2,000 views, but also ended with over 30 votes more than our closest competitor. Everyone’s support was and is much appreciated!

UPDATE: 1:40PM CST
A representative has emailed me an apology letter and asked if there is anything they can do to remedy the issue. They have also removed Copii la Joacă from their website.
